Flower Garden
The garden is partly in the outskirts of Nisse.
Our garden is from 2019 in the Open Garden Guide 2019 of the Dutch Garden Foundation with the following description: This garden is not easy to describe because there is so much to see! The ecological house was built by the current residents themselves. “The house is part of the garden and also a reflection of the way we garden.” The house has for a large part a roof with plants and an attached conservatory with subtropical plants in the open ground. There are a huge number of container plants collected by the owner as a reminder. There is a large orchard with standard fruit, a smaller orchard with tropical fruit trees, a formally landscaped flower garden where every year plants and indoor plants are planted in ever-changing compositions and a vegetable garden. But there are also all kinds of “wilds” to see. And of course bees in this special ecological garden.
